According to the statistics of customs in the Ural region of Russia, the total import and export volume of the Ural customs region in January-September 2010 was 17 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 18.4% year-on-year, of which imports were 5.6 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 32.7% of the total trade, and exports were 11.5 billion U.S. dollars. From January to September, the trade volume between the Ural and non-CIS countries was 13 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 76.5% of the total import and export trade, up 18.5% year-on-year; the trade volume with the CIS countries was 4 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 23.5%, a year-on-year increase. 17.9%, the trade surplus was 5.9 billion US dollars, an increase of 30.8%.

The increase in trade volume with the CIS countries from January to September was mainly due to the increase of 80.3% for Uzbek exports, 67.1% for Ukrainian exports, 61.8% for Ukrainian imports, and 19% for Kazakh imports, but for Kazakhstan. Exports decreased by 22.6%.
 
From January to September, exports to Italy from non-CIS countries increased by 2.7 times, exports to Turkey increased by 95.9%, exports to Finland increased by 59.8%, exports to the United States increased by 50.1%, exports to Belgium increased by 41.1%, and exports to the Netherlands increased. 25.8%, exports to Germany increased by 4.9%, imports from France increased by 61%, and imports from China increased by 53.1%. But exports to China fell by 51.2%, exports to India fell by 19.5%, and exports to Iran fell by 12.9%. Imports from Italy fell by 43.1%, imports from the United States fell by 21.7%, and imports from Germany fell by 18.3%.
